Part two of my Spectrobes: Origins summary. About the first planet we get up to in the game.
ARRIVAL
Rallen and Jeena land on Wyterra. Looks pretty much normal at first, until they see a group of krawl at the bottom of the cliff they're on. There also is some sort of ancient building right behind them. Rallen, as should probably know, has already had experience with spectrobes and prepares for battle, but it turns out that he can't summon any from his prizmod (AKA that hexagonal device on his arm where his spectrobes are stored). Jeena and him bicker for a bit about why things aren't working out, and Komainu just runs over to where the krawl are and through to the building. Rallen and Jeena notice this and try to chase after him, also having to run through the army of krawl.
SANCTUM RUINS
Once Rallen and Jeena enter ancient building, which they learn is named the Sanctum Ruins, they see a village's worth of people taking refuge in there. One of the village's elders is surprised to see Komainu and that Rallen's a spectrobe master. Turns out that the elder is also the sender of the distress call, too. He tells them his name's Radese and then talks about how Rallen and Jeena can fight off the krawl, even despite the fact that Rallen right now can't summon any spectrobes.
COSMOLINK
Radese introduces Rallen and Jeena to the cosmolink, which is a pretty important tool that's held by two spectrobe masters.
